I am looking at loaning out my mare she is 13.1hh welsh x arab and is a darling of a mare she is recovering from having ruptured her muscle in her forearm and is currently walking sound I need to find her someone soon too as I am really struggling to keep her as I have lost my job and hubby now gone away will only let her go to a kind knowledgable home though, have advertised her on several websites (well those that are free anyway) will be putting ads in local tack shops tomorrow.

What else can you all suggest please?....really need to find her somewhere fast before end of Feb at least

Could you get a sharer for a bit? Would she be safe for a novice/small disabled person/child to take walk-only or lead-rein lessons on? Or move her to grass livery until sound in more than walk? (If that won't be detremental to her recovery.)

I'm sure there are people out there who would be interested in a project but it does sound as though you'll need to find quite a specific loan home so possibly worth considering other options until then.

Very sorry to hear about the job and the man - I know how both those feel!
