well left work yesterday and headed for the stables which is 5 mins away, when i got there the 2 others on the yard were riding / in field so i got on with my mucking out and then one of the girls came back and told me Alice had mangled her leg (bearing in mind she was right in front of me in her field all fine) She said OMG i got here and there was blood etc etc panicking and i hosed it and blah blah blah. so i got her from paddock and had a look -no blood but 2 very attractive long cuts/graze down one of her hinds. literally from hock level on front of the leg and down the inside and both go right down to the hoof!!! . but its so not as bad as she made out and think she will live AND the leg will not need to be amputated!. it wasnt sore and she isnt lame and i have no idea how she did it as i saw her at lunch time yesterday to put her in field (none are turned out together) and it wasnt there. lol so she now will have 2 more scars for her collection but for now she has a white/purple sock as its covered in SUDO cream and purple spray! lol
