Just wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of this horse. About 16hh TB dark bay gelding, four little white socks, star, dodgey hip from being kicked by his mum as a baby, 4 years old. Was in training with John Best where I looked after him, rode him, took him to all his races and generally just loved him! Was going to have him when he finished racing but he then got moved to be training with Tony Carroll. He ran a couple of times and now nothing since March, I heard the owner fell out with the trainer and he was told to move the horse, not sure if this is correct but have seen nothing of him since hearing this. I've emailed Tony Carroll's yard asking after him but have had no reply, can see nothing of him on the website. Racing post still has him down as at that yard but no entries. Im not sure where else to look! I just want to know where he is and what he's up to if hes no longer in training.

Thanks you for reading, if anyone can help at all I'd be very grateful :)

Racing post doesn't always say they are deceased, mines not. I reported a hunt horse as pts, sent passport to issuers with a letter and she hasn't been listed as deceased on nedonline. Maybe worth just checking.

Sorry you had bad news though :(

Okay thank you, just spoke to the trainer, he said he went somewhere to be a riding horse so if he did die it wasn't with him. He's going to try and find the number for the people who got him

Just realised I did finish my post!

He's going to try and find the number for the people he went to and ring me back if he does.

Pinklily, there's are horses I know are dead that aren't listed as so on racing post and nedonline so I know that doesnt mean he's alive :( but I will carry on trying to find out, either way at least I'll know.

If anyone knows of people who retrain racehorses in wales then please let me know :)
