My Mickey has been gone 9 years today...

I didnt realise till I was driving back from the shop an hour or so ago. I realised the date, and then looked at the clock....he died at 8.15 on 21st May 2000. I cant believe he's been gone so long, seems like yesterday still

You never quite get over the sudden death of a horse, do you? I still think of him every day, even though it was nearly a decade ago. I dont think I'll ever stop thinking of him

I know exactly what you're going through. My boy died suddenly 3 years ago and the emptyness and pain of losing him is still there after all this time.

Strange how only the good times together can be remembered though, because he could also be a little b..gger when he went into one of his strops.
