I'm kind of annoyed this morning. Just received a text from my sharer to say she was going to be stopping at the end of September, and she wont be riding at all this week. She started riding in June and was on holiday for a month in July. She is in her last year in 6th form and When she started I asked her if The 2days in the week would be OK with school, because I didn't want to be left in the lurch for the coming winter months. I just feel so irritated. Sorry ....rant over..........feeling much better now. xx

Do you mean October BTW?

Sounds like a typical kid... Winter's coming, she's finishing at school and the prospect of 'horse duties' in winter vs hanging out with her mates and/or boyfriend, just isn't appealing. At least she's let you know. Albeit with a couple of week's notice.

That's what separates us from the other horsey lot... lol There are some that are in it full time and others who like the summer riding.

You need to find a hardcore horse lover - Goodluck.x

Ooooh yes I did mean October (forgot the month in the middle of my rant) I know desp need to find a hardcore horse lover. That wont mind the mud, rain, wind and dark mornings and evenings! I guess there is no point crying over spilt milk, but I do eel better burdening you guys!! I hate trying to find a sharer though. xx

But then, I may be one of the oddest kids around

I prefer yard duties to shopping and riding in the rain is 10x better than sharing the arena when it's 30 degrees!

Like you said though, at least she gave some notice... :/

This is why it's important to get a signed agreement. I have an agreement with my horse's owner that protects me and her. I have to give her a month's notice to stop sharing and she would have to do the same for me if she planned to sell or wanted to move him, etc. Works well, we're both happy and get on well.

I just love mucking out come rain wind, not to keen on the frozen as in water pipes, seeing my horses rugged up to their eyeballs as they say snug as a bug in a rug, but the summer sunshine and heat has me wilting cann't cope with it.
