Lesson yesterday went very well, got little Copper jumping quite nicely despite forgetting his martingale and having a lot of camel impressions!

I am clearly riding like a complete clown but at least we got over the jumps.

Eric went beautifully too without the need for any paraphenalia to strap his head down after all.

What a lovely boy.

They look quite good I think considering that I hardly ever feed them (apparently). ;)

Eric looks utterly underwhelmed by the size of the jumps, but very shiny and beautiful [though obviously starved and neglected] :p

Frankly I am shocked, shocked I say! I cannot believe my thread with videos of jumping would not attract any of the following;

Your horses look lame
Your horses look thin
Your horses look fat
Your tack is dirty
Your horses are dirty
You should be wearing back protectors/ hi vis
Why are you using all those "gadgets" ie. reins, martingale, stirrups
Why would you put a pink sparkly browband on a gelding
You should get some flatwork lessons
You are too fat for that horse
You are cantering too fast
You are cantering too slow

Seriously, has HHO lost the beachiness all of a sudden? Or perhaps I should write "No critiscism please" or something along those lines?

BTW they look great. Glad your having fun with them. :D

Why are you not carrying the horse? Poor thing, he needs a rest sometimes.
Why aren't you using at least one exercise sheet? Five would be my preference.

Wow! I really, really like your big dark horse - he looks to be a cracker, with paces to die for! The first video just showed a lovely willing little green horse, who certainly has the speed and the corners :) so I think will be turn into a fab horse against the clock - if that's what you want to do with him.

Both look in great condition - must have missed previous posts, not sure why anyone would say anything different.

What are your plans with them both?? Sorry but I really do like your big horse - his face is stunning!

OMLGG, you are like soo wrong innit cuz my instruktor sez they iz well good innit and like they really like it when you iz fat coz it stops them having to jump so high and all innit.

They look very much un starved and un neglected!
Keep having fun with them.

You selling Eric then?
How old, whats he done etc?

It's a bit of a joke really- nosy neighbour is under the impression that they never get fed or ridden and I'm really mean to them  Eric is 12yo, he's a smashing big orse done a bit of everything!

Gorgeous horses! :D

Ta m'dear ;)

One word MrsM- Baaaa :D you could have come up with your own insults! I went so fast that all 14 exercise rugs and his ear muffs fell off :( I tried to carry him but I am dieting at the moment and so weak with hunger I kept dropping him.

Thanks L! Eric does move like a dream doesn't he, I can't stop staring at him when he trots! The small orange one (the flying carrot the Instructor called him :D) has only just started jumping after racing on the flat and that was his first ever double so it's nice to hear good things, I think he did extra well considering he had to cope with me too. He needs loads more work, he usually goes in more of an outline but I forgot the martingale to encourage him and it was only his second time indoors and his first time seeing mirrors! Bless, they are such stars...

My plans are- Copper (fairy feet/flying carrot) will be my RC and polocrosse horse this summer after some more work and Eric will do some BSJA and then move on to a new home :(
