I have just got myself a little lorry...... and I love it already

I had a good day out yesterday with two horsey's who travelled really well in it- although we did get stuck on soft ground, and had to unload to push the box out! I've got a little day living bit at the back, and it was lovely to have somewhere to sit down and put your boots on etc.
As you will be able to see on the pic, I have already managed to dent the ramp by putting it down on rough ground- I really could have cried

I have now got to sell my Rice Beaufort Sixty trailer though........ I've put up loads of ad's in tack shops etc, and put it on horse deals. Does anyone else have sugestions of where to advertise? I might put it on H&H as well? How much do you think it is worth- it's less than a year old (I paid over 6K) and very tidy, as it's not had much use, due to my accident prone neddy!

It takes big horses....... the manafacturers wife has a 17.2 ID stallion they have traveled in her's. I think the head room is 7'6, and it's really wide.
The payload is 1.2ton so fairly reasonable..... pleanty for skinny minnie big lad who struggles to reach the 500kg marker!

Im sooooo Jealous of you both!

My horse has out grown my trailer (he is only 16'2 but has an 18hh head carrige) so I either need a lorry or a bigger trailer and bigger 4x4 to pull it.

Now where did I put that credit card?

That's the problem I've had. Big lad only measures 16.1, but he has a very long neck!
He was fine in the trailer we had, as that's really spacious, but we had to change the car to pull it........ and as I can't tow a trailer OH eventualy said we should just a get a box.
On the down side, I keep waking up during the night having palpitations about how much money I've just spent LOL
