he is medium trained dressage but he gets a bit stiff now so progression is out?? im not a dressage buff but he is sound and as i have been out of riding properly for a few years he will be a good school master for me to touch up my flatwork. i would like to try and grade him, he was just a competition horse for the previous owner, who wasnt interested in breeding outside of the few mares she had.the lady i bought him off just wanted him to go to a good home where he will be looked after. i have a couple of mares he might like next year so who knows, just going to have a bit of fun with him. oh yes i have had stallions before, all young and bouncy so this one will make a change, he is such a gentleman!!

He sound the perfect march for what you want. Congratulation, I am sure you will both have lots of fun together, there is nothing better than a well mannered schoolmaster to help you along with your dressage.

He's fab I love him.

Is that Holme Grove Calypso?? If so, i own one of his relations, Holme Grove Chantelle. Calypso's dam (HG Cordula) is my fillys granddam and is also by the same sire HG Solomon. He looks fabulous, i hope you have lots of fun with him, he looks rather similar to my girl!!

Heres my little (or not so little) girl, she is 3 years old and is currently being backed at the moment.

You can definitely see the familiar resemblence. Ive always said Tilly takes after her grandma HG Cordula. Have you seen a pic of your boys dam?
