) to the vets to register her, and because she was nibbling and scratching a lot last night - and she has FLEAS

Well the only odd one or two actually, but even so

I am appalled, my dogs never have fleas

So she has had a steroid injection to stop her scratching, and Frontline (fleas-and-mange) for both of them

Hopefully this will sort her out, my vets and I love each other so much now that I go there at least once a week

Apart from howling for an hour last night, and trying to raid the bin several times a day, Flick is settling in very well

well!! now we're all scratching!

Glad she is settling in well and please do ensure you leave some nice tasty treats right at the top of the bin so her efforts are not in vain

I know greyhounds are notorious bin raiders I just have never had one before, so I think some home adjustments will be necessary before she can be left to roam free

The rescue people are horrified, I let them know and they were SOOOOO apologetic! Apparently the pound they got her from in Ireland had told them she had been treated with Frontline - but that was months ago

My spaniel came with lots of fleas and riddled with worms, he was sick the first night I had him and it looked like a pile of spaghetti!! I gave him a bath and his whole chest and tummy were red raw with flea bites. It took ages to completely get rid of them, they live in the carpet you know! So lots and lots of hoovering, my carpet didn't know what had hit it!!
