My new horse...6 months in.....

Hi, Just wanted to share a pic of my first ever horse, Rocky

. I got him at the beginning of January and after an... interesting few months or so I feel we are finally getting somewhere. He is a TBx and is 10 years old. Before he came to me he had played polo all his life so I have been working on retraining him to work better in the school... it hasnt been easy as he is having to learn to use his muscles differently. However, this past month we have really turned a corner.. so much so that we are going to our first tiny little show a week on sunday! Wish us luck!! (........ i hope the photo works!!)

I dont have any paperwork for his breeding, but I was told he is TB crossed with some sort of pack pony. They used pack ponies in the breeding to give them sturdier legs for playing polo apparently!!!

he is 16hh!! bigger than I set out to get, but when I met him i knew i had to have him!!

Bless always the way isnt it...i was after a 5 year old and came back with a 2 year old lol i just couldnt say no to him.

Probably not crossed with welsh as he is quite big, but can deffo see the TB in him. Hope you both have a great time together!!!
