I was going to view her last weekend and the lady called back early the morning of the viewing saying her father was seriously ill and she would have to postpone the viewing, and she would call after the weekend, i waited all week for her to call back, nice woman, that Geraldine.
anyway she looks fab and she sounded great on the phone, i hope she is as good in reall life and you have a fab time with her

Her passport name is Toorafin Lady. But like I said before calling her Lady will wind me up so im calling her Tia.

Shes not so clean now. I put her out in the field so shes got a grass stain lol.
 
Hehe what a coincidence. I viewed her not last friday but the friday before and bought her there n then subject to vetting. Yeh she's lovely. I feel a bit bad for her daughter though cuz I dont think she wanted to sell her. I'm gonna keep in touch with them though.

She was waiting to see if it failed the vet or not. At least you didn't get as far as seeing her.
 
all ready texed her, dont think she will get back to me!, to know that you have a buyer and then arrange an appointement a week later, make up a pack of lies about three others viewing that Saturday, more on the Sunday then text in the middle of the night saying her dad has been taken seriously ill, and then just not get back at all, even after promising to do so - i am dumbfounded, and i dont even want to think about whether her dad was ill or not!!!???
 
i get the vetting bit, and lots of people do say when you call, "its just waiting on its vetting" but i do think she could have told the truth, its not actually that difficult, she has really pissed me off

no, and i just dont like the fact that she was lying to me, and making up stories, and she could have texed back when she new it had passed its vetting, its not exaclty hard to say "its sold, sorry"
 
Oh dear I didnt mean to get people angry. Shes never sold a horse before and when I said i'd put a deposit down for her and asked her not to try to sell her to anyone else she was a bit paniky about having to cancel the saturday viewings cuz this was like 9.30pm on the friday night. I know she had like 3 people booked for viewings on the saturday then another 3 at least on the sunday. She might have been waiting to see if she failed the vetting and if id back out or not. I have no idea if her dad is ill or not so cant comment on that.

Im lucky I got her I think.

Aww its ok. I would be a bit annoyed if it were me in your shoes. I was going to view a horse before this one and I was just driving to pick my instructor up to go see it with me and i got a txt saying she had been sold.

I just hope Tia settles is in and is everything her owners say she was and that i'll have no problems. I've already mentioned it on here but I got a horse sold as a novice ride from a dealer and he reared and bucked and I had to take him back. Fingers crossed this one wont do anything like that!
 
Hehe someone suggested it on here and I instantly liked the name. So now I can call her in the field and not feel like a muppet.
