I purchased a yearling a week ago and her manure absolutely stinks terrible!

She has lived out at grass since a foal with her previous owner.

She looks in very good condition but she seams to produce a lot of manure and it is very foul smelling.

I have not put her on Any food and I did notice the smell the first night she arrived.

What could it be? She looks too good for it to be ulcers and with her only being a yearling and out at grass since a foal I find this hard to imagine ??

I have wormed her and I will worn her again as I don't think the old owner looked after her well, she has just lived out as a goal and was untouched!

I am at a loss as to what it can be and I don't want to pass anything to my other horses.

Any advice greatly appreciated

Thanks x

Think about taking a dung sample to vet for analysis perhaps? They can do a worm count (or send it some lab which can) and also perhaps analyse for odd bacteria maybe?
