I promised I would post some pictures of my brand new horse George

I am 37 and I've been riding since I was 7 but he is my 1st horse so I am very happy (and nervous) and realise how lucky I am.

These pics were taken yesterday when I rode him for the first time since he arrived, please excuse the completely unflattering pics of me, I think I need to lose weight (hopefully the mucking out / riding will help!).

Anyway enough yacking here's George:

Loving your big, sunny smile & how his little bootees are matching your outfit! A wild guess here but is blue your favourite colour? lol

I love his colouring he is lovely any info on him breed etc etc?
Hope you have lots of fun with him, Having your own is an experience you wont want to give up

He looks lovely! And you look over the moon!! I'm in exactly your position - I'm 37, have ridden since I was nine and am currently looking for my own horse. Had an awful weekend of viewings (see my post). Hopefully I'll soon be posting a pic on here of my new horse, complete with me grinning like an idiot beside him/her!!

CONGRATULATIONS, HUGE CONGRATULATIONS. was in the same boat, im 31 and ridden others since i was 7 and bought my own last week, arrived 250507 and happiest ive ever been, have replied to the "weekend of bad viewings" post as mentioned about cos it was hard going but as you now know its worth it - CHANGE YOUR USER NAME

Congratulations. George looks super and you look well suited. I think I am the one who needs to lose weight not you by the way. I bought a body protector at the weekend - my first ever - and when I got it home and looked at the size it was Adult Small Extra Wide. Damn, there go all my hopes of being tall and slim! Enjoy your new horse.

He looks gorgeous! I'm obsessed with chestnut horses, he looks a lot like mine (except male and well behaved

) I hope you have many happy years together which I'm sure you will and keep posting the pics.
