So we inherited two more labs from my father in law who became very ill a couple of months ago. We now have 3 labs (mother and her two daughters) and 2 terriers. Things are actually going very well. The labs are kenneled and the terriers live in the house (one elderly). The 2 new labs were at first very wild - as my fil had been so ill they hadn't had alot of exercise for a while and then they were in kennels for 4 weeks. I can now walk all 5 off the lead and control each lab with the whistle. Theyhave a 3 mile walk every day and a swim (we live on a farm with big drains) and they couldn't be happier. They have lost weight, calmed down and look great.
Enjoy the pic, this is after our walk. Note the body language of the pat, this is the one I had problems with attacking our lab as a pup. Hes now very much bottom of the pack and is scared of all the labs as they bowl him over! The older terrier had gone in at this point - too cold for photos!!
