A few weeks ago I posted on here to get some advice. I'd been offered a horse on loan, and was seriously considering it, despite having very little riding experience, and even less experience of day to day horse care. I was kind of looking for someone to talk some sense into me..... and everyone on here said go for it!!!

So I have :)

Currently trying to work out how to post a pic!

I've very excited, and looking forward to spending more time with her, getting to know her better, establishing a few ground rules (she was a little bargy on the ground today, and she's a fidgit bum, so we'll be practicing "Stand" I think!) and generally getting stuck in looking after her.

Just wanted to say thanks thank for all the support I got on here, and wanted to let anyone who cared know the outcome!

Excuse the very bad photo - she's hot and sweaty after a hack. Must get some better ones...!

She looks like a real sweetheart. Keep posting with how you're getting on. I found the people on here great for info, I'm a newbie too :) 3 months in to ownership and loving every minute.

Gawd you're doing well. After the first 3 months I still wanted to throttle my little darling... The joys of getting to know your very first horse :) Wouldn't ever be without him now, Just like you guys. Good luck and keep us updated. Always lovely to hear from other owners at the novice level.
