Deary me...
This is my new subject
She is one year old and is owned by a chap in a village down the road, she has issues with pulling on the lead and being vocal/zoning out when she sees another dog or cat, I am popping down to give him a hand a couple of times a week and giving him some pointers.
We had our first session today, she is a wee darling, very smart and has loads of ball-drive, she is nuts about fetch!
In no time at all we got her to walk on a loose lead (lots of directional changes!) and walk past three dogs without yelling at them, and her tail never stopped wagging! She is one happy dog and her owner loves her to bits.
The only problem I have is that her name is 'Bo' - not only is that confusing as I already have a 'Bodo', but it also rhymes with 'No', so I have advised the family to think of a new correction word, at the moment we are using 'ah-ah'!
But it's a hard habit to break for me!
And here are some gratuitous shots of Goldenballs during and after our run today, please excuse the fluffiness, he had a bath this morning.
He has a hard old life
