my new Ventair skull makes me look like a mushroom!!!

I treated myself to a new Champion Ventair Skull. Got it fitted in the shop and Ive worn it quite a few times.

Only problem is that Im feeling really self concious about it now because it looks huge on me. Ive had comments from my family that I look like a mushroom (im on the skinny side) and that character on 'Spaceballs', Helmut (taking the mickey out of Darth Vader)

Is it the way they are designed and does anyone else think they are big?

tbh... who cares what it looks like as long as it fits and is nice and safe ?
Lets be honest... unless you are Katie Price... we prob all look a bit dodgy in our jods... and hats just arent everyones thing are they? ... just make sure its fits well and then s_d what it looks like !

This is why I stick with the traditional velvet ones. I don't have an angular face of all high cheek bones etc so find the velvet ones ook the east 'mushroom' like.

And seeing as I don't XC/SJ etc then it's safe enough for me for general plodding about.

Hmm. I had the same problem - until I bought the ventair! I adore mine, in a way that is perhaps not normal! Had previously been a *whispers in shame* showjumper, so had worn GPA hats, and hated the heavy feel of jockey skull caps, but i just love the ventair to pieces. I think everyone looks a bit stupid, ive never seen someone look good in a hat, which is why posers dont wear one!

I love my Ventair skull cap - and yes it does make me look like a mushroom - but it is soooo comfy!!!! And TBH everyone looks like one in a skull cap!!!!

Haaa haaaaaaa oh dear, sorry for laughing but your post has taken me back a few years when my mum treated me to a new jockey scull one Christmas, can't remember the make/model of hand but it was a latest one, well when I put it on (picture the whole family around unwrapping Christmas presents etc etc) I thought hmmm fits looked at my boyfriends face, then my sisters and just knew there was somthing wrong, looked in the mirror and burst into fits of laughter, it was huuuuuuuuuuuge!!!!!!!

I've never looked so bl**dy daft in all my life, there was no way I was going riding in that, I looked like I'd been shot out of a cannon...and that was with the silk on lol!

could of died it was that funny!
