My next door neighbour

was taking out the bins as I got home tonight. I saw she looked upset and I guessed why.

Her beloved old dog will be PTS tomorrow after battling thyroid cancer.

She has moved heaven and earth to keep him going and happy, but it's now his time.

He is too weak to carry on and she's had to make the decision.

She is 'only my neighbour' but my heart is breaking for her

She mentioned she doesn't know what to do for his grave.

I ordered one of these for her tonight (least I could do)

cried for my neighbour when her
GSD died and she cried for Jake. Doesn't matter what age the dog is, just heartbreaking.

Felt so sad for her all day.

The deed was done yesterday and her husband buried the dog in the garden this morning.

I am now terrified of Salem jumping the fence and digging the body up.......
