Hi my old girl is now 17 yrs and is really starting to struggle with life, she is totally deaf, going blind, only has a few very bad teeth left and has started having nose bleeds i am starting to think about the time being close to letting her go.
What do you guys think?

I have a old dog same age as your girl and people on here have always helped. Mine is deaf but is coping fine. However from what you have said and her bleeding does sound as if she needs to see a vet. As people on here have said its about quality of life and they do tell you when they have had enough.

hopefuly she will pick up but its better a day early than a day late.

You know your dog better than anyone else. A trip to the vet to discuss any options available for her may be advisable. Is she happy in herself or does she look miserable. Older dogs will obviously spend more time sleeping but if she has had enough she will let ou know.
It's not a nice time but it is when our 4 leggeds need us the most.

That is very sad, i know exactly how you feel i had my 17yr old dog put to sleep earlier this year and it was hideous.
However you must do the right thing for your dog no matter how hard it is for you, that's the very least we owe them for all the joy they have given us.
I had the vet come out to our house and he was PTS in my arms being cuddled and thanked for his love (I'm welling up just thinking about it) I wasn't ready to see him go, but he was ready to go, like yours it was becoming a struggle for him.
Be strong for her and do it before she starts to suffer, its better for her.
