My old GSDX RSPCA mutt

Xara is at least 11 years old. She is healthy but a having a jaw problem at the moment.

Vet has given her some painkillers and she is on soft food which Salem (the horrid wolf)REALLY wants to steal.

I called her down this morning for her breakfast and painkiller. She was under our bed (where they sleep) and I called and called and shouted and she wouldn't get up and come downstairs.

Eventually I had a bright idea. I opened the front door and knocked on it.

Instantly she appeared, barking!

Only one way to get the old girl up in the morning!

When ours wouldn't leave the house to go into the back garden, I would 'throw' a pretend object out the back door and then close it behind them

Yeah I love a good trick on a dog. When Roly wont drop a sock I say
"come in!" and he drops it to go look who's coming in...
Of course, no-one is

All I have to day is say 'who's that' and my lot are off down the drive like rockets, leaving whatever mischief they were up to.

Haha, I do something similar to a lazyass dog I walk.... go in, attach his lead then go ring the doorbell.... still hasn't figured it all out
