My 11 week old GSD pup was attacked by a fully grown husky. He has a bite a bit below his eye, and under his mouth. The one on top is worse. Seems to be doing alright, treated the wounds and keeping an eye on him. What really makes me mad is that the daft cow who owns this ill mannered thing has been told twice now, with several subsequent mentions, that her dog is not welcome at my house. Not only did she get my boy, but then went for - and I think got him under the eye - her boyfriends puppy. I am so angry at her and so sad for my boy, who did not deserve that.

Aw poor Lukas, hope the bites are not too serious. As soon as he has recovered I would try and get him to meet lots of good natured dogs so this does not cause a confidence problem.

Have you popped him to the vets to be on the safe side?
As MM, do get him out and about and meeting other dogs and help him get over it so you don't have shyness issues down the road.

I hope this has shocked this woman into taking some action with her dog?! He needs to be dealth with by a good trainer/behaviourist/someone used to large working breeds who won't be afraid to be firm, before he attacks the wrong dog.

Definately echo getting him out soon to meet other dogs - my old Inuit was attacked as a puppy and he could never totally be trusted with strange dogs after, which was my fault for being over protected after the attack. Poor boy :-(

Just don't let the dog back in. Stupid woman. Are the dogs visiting you all fully vaccinated?

I would have thought when the damn dog came in and started jumping up to reach whatever was on the counters, she would have removed it from the house. But no. Apparently common sense and courtesy is severely lacking in this one. The effing thing should never have been in, and I should have said something since she has been told, at the very minimum, twice now that this dog was banned from the yard after trying to eat one of my chickens. I don't know wtf she was thinking even taking her out today, there was a community 'fun day' with a little dog show (we got 3rd in cutest puppy! :D) and she knows damn well hers is not a dog that is safe to have around others. Pups is back to his usual happy little self, and is going to the vets anyway so will see what they say about this. I'm still absolutely fuming. Could go on for ages ranting about her (been at my yard 2 days and is already taking the piss, along with my other livery's stuff ) but I'll try to control meself!
Anyhoo, here one of little at the doggie show in the child handler class (it did NOT go well lol), and what his face looks like now.

Forgot to add, I think only ONE of them is.

GRRRRR on many levels. I hope your pup isn't too shaken. Yet another example of someone buying a 'cute' Husky with NO idea what they are taking on.
Yeah. Not to mention breeding from it...............

She's posted all over fb that I kicked the **** out of her husky and that she had to have an emergency call because there is internal damage. This is a blatant bunch of boll0cks. She has also publicly named me as being the one to supposedly do this. The sad thing is, she's dating my OH's son, and he's completely blind to what an utter liar this girl is. :( The other crap thing is that she has her horse boarded here. Which hopefully won't be much longer as I've asked the owner if I have his blessing to send her packing. I know he'll be out of pocket (assuming she PAYS her board) but it just isn't worth the hassle.
I know she's not worth the energy, but I am so frustrated and upset I can't see straight. :(

Sounds like a nightmare!
Scare her with some legalese :p report her posts on FB and if her dog is really injured she won't mind showing you the x-rays/scan results/vet's report, will she now? Oh and at least you have pictorial evidence of a fricking hole in your baby puppy's face.

Thanks, yeah my logical side knows this and realizes that she can't do squat really. I do think the whole reason this came about is due to a caption on one of my photos about pups needing to see vet, so she started the bs train rolling. :( Having pics is great! Not to mention several witnesses. :D It still sucks though, and yeah, a total nightmare!

I'd ask to talk to her vet direct. I imagine she's talking rubbish. How very unfortunate of her to behave in this way when she's seeing your OH's son.

I would recommend very strongly that you refrain from posting posts on FB about the pup or that you delete her and her mates. My OH (cop) says he's utterly sick of FB causing so much trouble.

From talking to people who have known her all their lives, she's always been an attention seeking, lying piece of work.

I posted the pics you saw on this thread. Have said nothing about it, haven't gone and named anyone, never laid blame on there. He's so right about fb causing problems. What really peeved me off was the other girl that was with us at the dog show telling me that she constantly was warning people away from her dog because she can be funny with other dogs. And then she sets it free at my house after being told not to.

Thanks for the advice, appreciate it! :)
