.....is having the bejesus kicked out of her by the foal and it's not even born yet!! I'm convinced it's a colt because it

I was up with her today and you can see she's a wee bit uncomfortable with it all and all I could do was give her a hug

She's starting to slightly bag up, so I'll be moving her to the stud in the next few days.

It won't be long now

It always amazes me just how those long legs and everything can have any room inside these poor mares to kick about. My mare is just a heaving belly on legs right now.
Hope all goes well with the move to stud and the foaling, when is she due?

Thanks everyone

She's due around the 23th May give or take a few sleepless nights for the nightman

It's only in the last couple of weeks that she's just ballooned - she reminds me of Violet in Charlie and the Choclate factory LOL. It's amazing watching the foal move as I've never seen anything like it

I can't wait to meet the new arrival, but I do pray that everything will be okay and she'll be alright - it would kill me if anything happened to her

Good luck as well to everyone out there expecting the pitter patter of small hooves

Its amazing, isn't it? Poor Beth is suffering in the same way, with great "boings" happening, making her jump! She is now enormous, and bagging up quite a bit, so not long to go, and I'm sure that she will be so pleased to have the foal out! We also think 'cos of the violent activity, that its a colt, which I'm sure we'll love, but really wanted a filly .... just hope its not a complete nutter, given the level of activity in poor mum's tum!
Where are you sending your mare to have her foal? Who is the sire? Its all so exciting, isn't it!
Good luck, and lots of best wishes to mum
