My Poor Mum :-(((

Pointless post by life just isnt fair! My Mum broke her ankle in a non horsey accident 5 years ago and spent 4 months in plaster due to complications. Since then she has bought a lovely horse that we all love and not only started riding again but has worked up to endless happy hacking, fun rides, hunting, hunter trials, showjumping and even team chasing! Her and Hattie have become a proper team!

Yesterday poor Mum has a freak accident in the school whilst just trotting around which has resulted in her breaking her hip and an operation last night. She now has 2 months of effectively 'box rest' to look forward to!

Completely pointless post but just more evidence that life just isnt fair!

What a shame.I hope she makes a speedy and comfortable recovery.

The plus side (as I see it) is at least she won't have to ride in the icy/cold/wet winter weather and can look forward to getting going again for the summer season?!
