My newest addition, little Cas, has gone from being a nervous wreck to an absolute star.
She hacks out on her own and in company now, whereas before she was terrified of cars...
She now jumps a course of jumps (decent hieght for her, she's 12.3), and is starting to work in a lovely outline.
So pleased as I've only had her a month!
However, today, we had a little (very funny) blip jumping. Cas really catleapt a jump, and Holly (my good friend who I rope into riding her for me as she is the size of a 12yo), somehow managed to land behind the saddle on the ponys bum, with her feet still in the stirrups, imagine water-skiing.
So poor old pony is trotting off with this look on her face like OMG, Hols face was pretty similar actually
But bless her, came to a halt and let Hol hop off and then back on again, in the saddle this time
I'm so impressed with her attitude, she's only five and considering what she was like when I had her, I expected her to freak out. She's so brave and grounded with everything though.
At this rate she'll make a cracking kids pony (gloat gloat proud mommy).
