hehehe,

Was flicking through tv last night and found Olympia Kennel Club Agility on H&C: Have taped it as she sat there for about 20 mins watching it, it's gonna be my ceebeebies for when she's tearing around and doing my head in

Thank you Benjamin.

MM - Looks a lot of fun, though am sticking to obedience for now. Wanted to do it with my other dog (staffie) who has way too much energy but unfortunately has elbow problems so can't. Did you do a lot of agility? Is there a strain on their legs (for a big dog I mean)?

Never had problems with their legs. I used to compete every weekend and competed in the Crufts team event twice. I loved it but as more and more collies started to do it the poor old GSDs didn't get a look in. However they do run ABC (anything but collies) classes. I never used to start jumping, other than tiny jumps, until I had their hips x-rayed and scored at 12 months. You could train all the tunnels, dog walks etc before then and they were still ready to compete at 18 months, although when I first started they could compete from 12 months so never did that!
