When I jump, the reins seems to slip between the saddle and my horse
He is a new horse and I have had my saddler out and he said the saddle fits, although I didn't know about this issue at the time.
There is room to pass your hand snuggly between saddle and horse when standing, must be something to do with when he comes for the jump.
He does have a shorter neck than my previous horse and possibly not as big shoulder, apart from putting a knot in my reins, or possibly a thicker saddle pad, any one else come across this ?
Suppose on the plus side means I don't grip with my knees when jumping!
