Hey everyone.
Just an update.... We did it, we moved Harley to the new yard yesterday 7th March 2011
)
Harley has always lived out, he has only been in a stable for a couple of hours when we got him gelded. It must be abit weird going from living out, leaving your friends, going to a new yard and getting used to being in a stable.
I am so made up with him, he was a lil star and so chilled.
He walked straight into the trailer (hes good travelling on his own), when we got to the yard he walked out really calm, we put him in his new stable to see how he would be, there was no other horses in and Harley was very chilled. He was in there for about 10-15min and then we turned him out into the lil paddock that we had put up in the main field so he could see and get used to the horses over the fencing. He did a lovely fancy trot around and was showing of lol. We left him out for about 2-3 hours and then we brought him in, he was the first one in and seemed abit upset in his stable but he soon settled down when some horses came in.
We got there this morning about 7.45am, he seemed quiet and chilled. It was just him n one other in. We walked him out he was a good lad, we decided to turn him out with the other 2 horses. He stood still when i unclipped him, he looked abit worried when they came to check him out, they had a lil trot around and then they soon settled down.)
