Any suggestions of brands/ cheap places to get stuff/ if your selling stuff etc etc :)

*WARNING* This is a dream shopping list of everying I want/need. I will never be able to afford it! Its a bit :eek::eek:

(the above is for taking off shoes, you know when its twisted and you need it off)

-Hair nets buy them in the chemist, Boots do really good thick hairnets

-Sweatscraper I've a spare one of these - it's blue, that you can have

-Hoof pick with brush on And a spare one of them, also in blue

-Elastic surcingle for a rug? If so I have a black one I'm not using (if I can find it!)
 
Thats one huge list!
Things on my list are mainly christmas pressies or things for next year but:
- one show saddle for lola
- one show bridle for lola (getting this for christmas)
- grooming kit for lola
- one dressage saddle for rowan
- dressage comfort bridle for rowan
- few saddlecloth/ bandage sets for row and dancer
- few bandage sets for lola
- over reach boots for rowan
- some new white breeches for me
- some new jodphur boots thermal for uni
- plain browband for showing bridle
Next year:
- 6ft3 stable rug 100-200g w/o neck
- 6ft 3 stable combo with neck
- 6ft3 medium weight combo t/o
-6ft3 fly rug.

hmmmm some saving needed i think!
 
Mine isnt too bad

New riding hat (current one has developed a rattle which I am sure isnt right)

Long leather boots with full length zip and hopefully laced fronts in a size 8 ( have been scouring ebay for second hand ones for ages.. no joy!)

Jumping saddle

Leather tendon and fetlock boots

Windows for my new horse lorry conversion

Full size leather headcollar

Western cincher girth

2 shetland size bridles

An english leather cob size bridle (have been scouring ebay for ages for a used one of these too, but either ultra expensive or broken)

The haflinger I have broken in for a friend ( after my lottery win!)

Actually maybe it is pretty bad!!!

Rowy- What kind of dressage saddle, I have a black 17 inch med, no knee blocks or anything. pm me
Lexus- I have a brown plain cavesson cob bridle in brown. Its a KN and cost loads at the time, its a bit SJ though with brass buckles etc :)

I am the ulimate horder when it comes to horsey stuff :o
 
You can make a strapping pad from hay :)

my list is actually depressing - all I want/need for my new horse is:

portable mounting block
bib martingale

I just don't need anything!
 
Here's mine ...

- Newmarket wool exercise sheet
- Tweed hacking jacket (preferably made to measure as I'm an odd shape :p)
- A fishtail saddle pad
- Long leather riding boots that fit my fat calves
- A hay bar
- A Renault Master horsebox
- White/cream jods that don't make me look like the back end of a hippo
- Thermal undies for the winter
- Leather headcollar
- Clippers

That's all I can think of at the moment.
 
My shopping list:

RUGS!!! (6ft / 6'3") - New Horse is coming and only has a lightweight :eek:
Grooming Kit - Someone's stole the old one :rolleyes: :mad:
A New Saddle

So I am priortising :p
I'm going to try and buy grooming kit, then some rugs, then saddle :rolleyes:

Thats only half my shopping list!
On the banging pad thing- I actually am pretty good at making hay wisps but I want one made of leather with handle- just being fussy and wanting posh stuff! :o
I also have an obession for all the newmarket stuff thats around at the moment. Both my horses have matching newmarket rugs :D
 
I have my eye on :

EquaFleece fluorescent (sp) exercise sheet
Hay bar
Heavy stable rug 6'6" with shiny outer.
Micro fibre noodle thingy to polish my horse!
Cavallo / or Euro Star breeches
(I am forever trying to find that "Perfect Pair" of competition breeches)
I'm sure there is loads more.
 
Homebase or a car shop for the fibre mit. Called noodle mits and yes I did get some weird looks in homebase the other day :D
Its just soooo full of useful (horsey) stuff!!!

-large lycra hood, pref full body one but neck would be fine! dont want it to have the face on it, it drives me mad!
