Well I went competing a week or so ago.
I got 6th, with a pole in the JO... I rode rubbishly, but was alot more confident!!

mum decided to book me a lesson with a local SJ instructor because I wasnt very happy with my riding, anyways, it was fab... here is the video:

thanks for watching, I am getting on so well, and will be doing dressage this weekend, and Showjumping the week after :-)
 
You look a bit stiff in the first video but looks like the lesson was a great help.

yes, very stiff... im always worried about her tanking off with me! even though i know i have control..
 
Ah well done, those are just the right height of jumps that I'd be happy with. I like forest edge, nice big arena.
 
im aiming to affiliate next year...

so need to be jumping around 80/90cms.... so my new coach is working on getting us ready. :-)

the spread at the end of my training was pretty big and wide... considering i had only jumped tiny on the sunday...

ooh yeah I meant the first jumps at FE! They are my size. Your horse looks enthusiastic too, which is probably why you feel a bit stiff. Confidence is everything and I'm sure yours will continue to improve judging by those vids.
 
thanks lol, its taken me a lot of hard work and lots more hard work to get to where i am...
shes been really difficult, and ive struggled with my confidence...
