Had a enjoyable day. Went on my own and left in plenty of time and walked course early before the horses started and decided to do the L alternative at fence 4 and didn't like the look of a corner fence.
Got back with 1.5 hours to go before dressage so thought I'll stud up and then have a cup of tea. Stupid studs wouldn't go in and it took me over an hour to do. Queue loads of swearing and throwing spanners. I'm useless at studding.
Dashed over to dressage with 20 mins to spare. She warmed up nicely and we did a nice test. One blip when she hollowed in last canter as she was looking at the horses walking over to sj. Trot work was nice though.
Dashed over to sj. Quickly learned the course and had 4 horses to go before me. Popped a few fences which as usual were enormous and no body seemed to be putting them down. Went in and apart a major nap at the beginning she jumped a lovely clear. Then got shouted at as I tried to come out of wrong gate as I hadn't noticed the other gate - sorry to the guy on the commentating! I was very red faced
Dissappointed to hear dressage score of 42
Quick change to XC. Heard lots of people were being eliminated at fence 5 for jumping wrong log out of water so went through it all in my head. She was very naughty in box and wasted about 10 secs but set sail.
Did alternative at fence 4 and she went lovely around the rest. Got over the white houses this time
Checked score after and I had been TE at blooming fence 5. I'm so dozy as I was listening to everyone else being E
