Took mare back to problem venue (thanks to those who gave me advice yesterday). She did nap - a few times but no broncking/rearing so we worked through it and she only threatened to rear once!
Weather was shocking so couldn't do any jumping as was on grass (except for one practice jump which was practically a field of mud
) so spent some time taking her in and out of all the arenas and getting off her - leaving her for 10 and getting on again. (she seems to think that if I stop for 5 minutes or get off her then she is finished. for the day
)
Anyway - despite driving rain I feel the experience was pretty positive for her - and me !
I know I shouldn't post a piccy here - but v pleased with her so here she is - shame we couldn't go any higher but just look at the ground
