whenever we're out riding he always tries to grab a snack off the bushes on the way! i try to stop him but as some of the tracks are quite narrow & there's edible bushes on both sides its quite difficult.
Then yesterday we were walking up the hill back to the yard & he was doing it. When we got back to the yard i got off & found he had spots of blood all over his nose. & there was a thorn sticking out of one! yes, the stupid horse had tried to eat a thorn bush, & the bush bit back! I may be mean but i just laughed at him. if he wasnt soooo rude...
was no more than surface scratches, i hope he's learnt his lesson (but i doubt it...)
