Toddled off to my friends on Saturday and did all the chores for her as she is finding it hard to do 4 horses twice every day aswell as going to work (and sometimes the mare whos on DIY livery to). So I got there with two hours to spare until C came down, I made up a brekkie for her old chappy, then turned him and Fearn out into the field next to the entrance gate, then mucked out their stables and skipped out the other 2 (they are only in for an hour a day so don't have much bedding), refilled water buckets and hay racks/nets. In between turning them two out and mucking out I had the great idea of going off to the field to take the other 3s rugs of, didn't think to take the gate keys with me so ended up climbing two gates, taking their rugs off and then trying to climb the two gates again with 3 heavy rugs :kopfpatsch: . Once all the jobs were done I went and got the other 3 in (well they walk themselves up to the yard) and started grooming as Solo looked like a skewbald instead of a grey

Me, C and her friend went on a short road hack in the lovely sunshine - me on Fearn (who led nearly all the way - very good for a 4 year old I think), S on Solo and C on Sovereign. Whilst hacking up the road near to the yard I turned around to see a big lorry behind us so to be safe we decided to cross over the road and stand facing the lorry, however behind this lorry were 4 others and they weren't just any lorry - they were those use crane hire lorrys that are extremely wide. Sovereign went
but stood their in the end, Solo wasn't paying any attention at all and Fearn looked a bit
at the first one but didn't bother about the others.
Then on Sunday a lady was coming out to see Sovereign so I went up early and turned S and Q out, did all the chores again, then went and fetched them all in. I gave Sovereign a good groom so he was sparkling for the lady. She came and fell in love with him immediately but then again how wouldn't with a face like this  . C put him through his paces and then the lady got on and had a quick go as it was quite slippy on the grass. Then me (on Solo), C (on Sovereign) and Clair (on Fearn) hacked down the road to the menage so the lady could have a proper ride and see him on the roads. He didn't bat an eyelid at anything - not even the chap jet washing his car as we rode past. The lady had a good ride on him in the menage and then her husband said they would have him. Shes arranged a vetting for sometime soon so if he passes he will be off to pastures new soon (somewhere in Leicester) :bawling: . Once the lady had gone we all had a play about in the menage and swapped horses, we did some schooling, some work without stirrups and some in saddle exercises such as thread the needle, around the world and full scissors - I forgot how flexible I no longer am
