So this has been an up and down kind of year.
We started 2014 with a lovely walk in the peaks
We had ice creams on Monsal Trail
But that's where it all went wrong, Tia starting showing some physical difficulties and then attacked Jack without warning while he was asleep so we made the difficult decision to have her pts as the vet suspected a brain tumour.
Jack got lots of alone time and a special 10th birthday walk
We then decided to foster for a while before we got another dog. We started with Kizzy who came to Brighton on a short holiday and enjoyed Chatsworth horse trials before being adopted by a lovely family.
Following Kizzy we were asked if we could 'puppy walk' a whippet puppy for 4 weeks.
We also fostered a lovely lurcher, Sally, who despite one failed attempt found a lovely home
We also had Dax the whippet for a short while, however, due to our rather inconsiderate neighbours, he had to find a new foster home who could help with his separation anxiety.
The afore mentioned whippet puppy became a permanent addition....and has been causing chaos ever since. She is in the middle of her first season and feeling very sorry for herself.
Mostly, we have been meeting lots of new skinny dog friends and having lots of fun. Jack is still as grumpy but full as going as ever
Christmas was spent in the peaks again
And besides Fizz seeing snow for the first time we haven't done much else
