Hi all

Was just wondering what your thoughts were on my youngster.

I've had her since she was a 5 1/2 month old very unhandled foal, she's now 18 months old and about 14.2/3 at her bum.

I took her to a couple of show last year where she was unplaced but behaved impeccably, so am thinking about taking her to a show in March as its local and two of my others will be going to, if I do take her she'll be in the any other breeds 3 years and under class and the inhand coloured/spotted class.

Here she is at 8 months old:

Thanks :) Vets said about 15.2 fully grown when they did her passport but that was when she was 5 1/2 months old and going on her mom & dads height (moms 15hh clydesdale x cob and her dad is a 15.2 traditional cob).

Once she's had a bath she's quite good at staying clean but at the moment is a mud monster :(

Awww she's lovely such a kind face :) what's her name ?

She's called Willow, her show/passport name is Wind in the Willows. She's only got a horse passport agency passport but I'm thinking of getting it overstamped by CHAPS.

She's got the nickname of Asbo though as she's very naughty at times! If she's not jumping the field gate or the fencing, she's pulling them down!!

She has a lovely expression and her looks/build are typical of her type.

I would say get her freezemarked on either of those brown patches on her flanks to make her less attractive to thieves as a broodmare.

Thanks. I've been looking into getting her freezemarked. She is already microchipped. Her height isn't in her passport as it was done when she was 6 months old so when she's fully grown I'm going to get that done or a life height certificate.

I was thinking of hogging her mane, clipping her feathers off, pulling her tail and showing her as a show cob when she's older but not sure if it will suit her

aww what a sweet name :) I would get it overstamped By CHAPS She's too pretty for just a bog standard passport. lol sounds alittle like a horse iused to know :)

I don't know if you just want oohs and ahhs about your horse or not but this is my opinion and you probably won't llike it but you did ask!

To me she is just another coloured cob, quite common looking, upright in front with a large head (which she may grow into). I don't particularly like the angles of her feet and pasterns.

However, to you she is wonderful and that is all that matters so get her out there and enjoy yourselves as much as possible, when she is mature and muscled in a few years time she will look like a different horse.
