Hello, could anyone offer any advice on which of these bits are better, my horse can lean and run through the contact a bit but doesnt like anything with too much movement or poll pressure.

Thanks

I've not tried the 32 but have two 02 mouthpieces, one a loose ring and one eggbutt. I really like them and the 02 is dressage legal. Not sure if 32 is or not.

Both mouth pieces are dressage legal with the correct cheeks.
Neither will give poll pressure, it's the cheeks that give poll pressure.
The 02 is more flexible than the 32, so I would've thought he would lean more on a 32.

I've tried both (& the 04) along with several non-Myler bits. I can honestly say my horse prefers the 32 to anything else! In most bits he'll drop behind the contact unless spooked or excited, at which point he runs straight through the bit.

The 32 is the only mouthpiece I've found where he'll accept the contact & take it forward. Occassionally he will get a little set on it but he doesn't actually run through it, just bears down on the hand until he's chivvied off. I think it's the stillness that he likes, he's certainly a lot steadier in the mouth & quicker to respond in his 32.
