My horse is currently ridden in a French link snaffle. My instructor has suggested trying her in a Myler but I'm confused and don't know which one to pick!!! Which is the closest to what he currently has? She does open her mouth without her flash and has a tendency to come on the forehand and set her neck against you. She's very green and hasn't done a great deal of schooling. We don't do dressage or competing. Suggestions?

The myler comfort snaffle is pretty much the equivalent of the french link. It's what I use on the Current Appy, if I need to use a snaffle ( I usually use the myler pelham) She does have a tendancy to open her mouth in any snaffle, so tend to use a drop noseband. Inciedentaly she never opens her mouth in the pelham, I think she likes having something in her chin groove.

They have stages I think - its a comfort one you need but I'm not sure which one...you are best to phone them...as there are various and I'm sure they will advise.

I like Mylers...dont have one, use an NS but I would have looked at Mylers...few on the yard swear by them.
