Myler bit with hooks

Am currently trying a myler low port snaffle with hooks and boy goes lovely in it so think may end up buying it. However today just recieved lovely new bridle for him which has clips to attach the bit to rather than billet hooks or buckles.

Am worried now that it won't fit the myler bit onto the hooks. Does anybody else use this type of bit with a bridle with hooks?

I used one of these before borrowed from my instructor and I am pretty sure I used it with my clip bridle. They are fab bits and I need to purchase one, off to eBay now!

Hi , Ive spoken to Myler people and as I thought , the clips wont hold the bit as securely as cheekpieces do . It would be a shame to spoil the effect of the bit because of the clips.

Hey, thanks for that. Appreciate the effort you took to find out for me. The bridle was on small side anyway so will look for a larger size with normal cheek pieces. Really like the bit on my cavesson bridle so don't want to spoil the effect it has.
