Myler bits

Hi, I have stopped lurking!

Just wondering!

Does anyone use Myler bits for their youngsters?

Are they any good?

Do they make them in large sizes? My horse usualy needs a 6-6.5" bit. He has a big mouth.

I dont claim to know anything about myler bits although my instuctor brought me one to try on one of my young mares who wont go in anything jointed, I could really tell the difference. I would normally ride her in a straight snaffle which she is quite happy in, but she went much better in the myler. They do seem quite complicated but the logic behind them is very interesting. I think theyre worth a try.
Dont know about the sizes though.

have a look at shop4bits. She has all the sizes, mouthpieces and cheekpieces and you can hire before you buy.

i am just buying 2 for my new mare. very impressed by the comfort snaffle, i think it's the 32 mouthpiece, with plain full cheeks.

I only use Myler bits on both my boys find them fantastic, not sure about sizing but with making a few calls lots of places offer try before buy#
