Myler Bits

Is there an obvious way to tell if a Myler is "genuine" - ie does it have anything stamped on it anywhere?

Which cheek is it ? as they have codes etc printed on them. If you let me know what cheek, I'll let you know what and where the codes / words should be

Erm...... :scratches head: it looks like an eggbutt with flat rings? (I know naahhhthing Mr Fawlty!)

ETA - haven't seen a code so assume a rip off. Harumph.

It should have 'TOKLAT' on it somewhere.

It will have 'TOKLAT' stamped on one cheek and 'MYLERS' stamped on the other.
If you're still not sure take a picture of it and post it on here.

On a normal eggbutt without hooks, there arnt any code numbers, just as said above, 'Toklat', written on one cheek, and 'Mylers' written on the other

Not to worry, if the horse likes it, it doesn't matter who made it.
