Hi everyone

I have been looking at Myler bits and noticed that some people say that they come up big compared with other bits (widthwise). Anyone found this or should I just order the same size as he is in now?

I personally found that they come up 1/4 inch bigger, so you could buy your normal size and put bit guards on the bit if needed.

I think the reason that they come up large is because they (Mylers) are already bent where as a 'normal' snaffle is measured straightened out. Eg, my loose ring lozenge snaffle measures 5 inches between the rings when it is straight, but when it is in the horse's mouth it is slightly bent and therefore the width between the rings is under 5 inches when in use.

I hope that makes sense. :D
