just wondering what people opinions/experiences of these are????
if you've used them what for, i.e to help with what exactly (balance/brakes/steering/general control) and how did your horse respond compared to other bits???

I prefer the nathe combination which has more action on the nose and a softer mouthpiece. These type of bits certainly work with some horses and really helped my mare SJing however didn't find it great xc.

I use one as I need slightly more control than a snaffle gives me, but not as much as a 3 ring. it all depends on which mouthpiece you buy. Most of them are quite mild bits and won't provide much in the way of brakes.
