So they are built for taking two reins as well as the more usual one? I've only ever seen people riding with one set (short, medium and long shank) but I sort of feel my little coloured could do with being taught to accept more of a bog-standard snaffle action as her novice owner rides her in a snaffle (won't let her within 100yds of anything with leverage yet!)... I am worried though that using two reins will ruin the hackamore effect on the nose?
I've lost my curb reins somewhere anyway so I'll have to ride with one set today!
