My 4yo has been brought in to be broken the last four weeks and around week 3 developed mysterious swellings on his belly and sides. They were very hard and solid, but looked as though they would come to a head, but with poulticing did not seem to drain, a week on they have gone down, but a few more are appearing. Any ideas? He has been bedded on straw and has been clipped out for the first time, thinking a straw allergy or in grown hairs? Otherwise in himself he is fine, but the lumps are sore to the touch.
