I have just been looking through the test for Saturday (I like leaving things til the last minute and will only actually ride this test for the first time in the competition as don't have a 60x20 to practise in

) and was wondering about a few things.

You know in the FWLR, it says HIB, does this just mean across the short diagonal or do you not touch I when you do this, therefore need to do a dog leg (I know I haven't explained that very well).

It is the same with the 2-5 steps of walk over L (when you change the rein BK)...

Thank you (I know I am having a blonde moment here

HIB means what it says, a direct line from H to B which does indeed go via I (which is between S & R).

So, yes B to K goes through L as you cross the centre line - try and centre your steps of walk over L - and remember they are steps, not strides - 4 steps to a stride.

oooh , where are you competing? i'm doing this asme test tomorrow at manor grange?

rode through it last night in 20 x 30m arena & it actually flows pretty well in that size so should be just fine in the full size
