I have heard this is good, and as my boy has a funny movement in one of his back legs, I thought about giving it a try to aide his mobility.

Any thoughts good or bad?

D was put on it on the advice of my vet to aid with his arthritis. Not able to tell if it helps that due to him having steroid injections, but since he started getting it he is no longer stiff when coming out of his stable first thing.

I have my boy on it. I started him on the soluble superflex by NAF but that made no difference. I then put him on 5* superflex and his joints dont click so much and hes not stiff coming out of stable in the morning. He doesnt have any problems just that i work him quite hard and thought he ought to have something to help the joints.

Thanks.
One of Murphy's back legs skews inwards as he walks. It doesnt affect him other than I imagine it might be putting odd wear and tear on his joints, so thought this could help out a lot.

Hi, i used 5* superflex for about 2 months with my oldie i noticed no differance the stiffness was the same. I swapped him on to Feedmarks Extraflex HA & there was a huge change after about 4 days of feeding it, he's now playing in the field with my youngster & acting like a 4YO again.

I had a fall and a bad dislocation a few years ago, and I've taken it daily ever since. If I stop taking it for more than a week, my elbow joint starts to click, so I'm carrying on with it! (I do of course scale down the dose! Just the tip of a teaspoon every morning!) So I would say that it DOES work!

I recommended it to my Dad when he started to have trouble with his knee, and he asked his doctor (in Australia) what he thought and he said there were human equivalents but that the animal one, being a powder, was very easily absorbed. And it's cheaper!

Everyone will likely roll their eyes at me for saying this again....!!

I LOVE this stuff. Absolutely brilliant. My athritic pony is now galloping about again and my other horse is far more flexible (when I didnt even think he was stiff!) and also it has amazingly cured his cold back. Fabulous stuff.
