about 3 months ago i rescued a neglected thoroughbred stallion he was skin and bone..but is putting weight on slowly..i originally had him on 2 bigish feeds a day, after a visit from the vet he suggested 3 small feeds..and that i tried a pro-biotic..so iv just put him on pink powder?? does anyone feed this and what results have you had?

I find it works well on all of mine that get it but as your vet suggested splitting his feed into three or even four rather than two will make a big difference.

Cheaper and more effective to just feed yea sacc/ brewers yeast - then you're not paying for all the fillers and binders that are in PP.

Fab stuff - when we bought my son's pony he was very poor so added pink powder and veg oil to his feed for a few mnths which really helped. He is unrecognisable now..

I've only heard good things about it :)
We gave it to 4 horses, 3 ridden and one retired. One of the riddens did seem even more wappy than usual and hadn't performed as well in her summer shows as normal. Looking back the sensible one was quite aggressive and the grey responded in kind. Then the shop didn't have enough to take us through Christmas, so I got Haylage Balancer instead, practically the same ingredients, shouldn't really have made much difference. Wow! Even the absolutely sensible, bombproof lady was threatening to jog along, the usually on her toes girl was VERY difficult to hold. The one with no back shoes could hardly bear to put her feet down on the gravel path. We took them all off it immediately and every-one was back to normal in a few days. Never again!

i did read that somewhere on here,i think i will stick to the pink powder as dont want to keep changing his diet now..he seems to eat it well...i rang naf and they suggested giving him 4 scoops a day then reducing once he's gained condition..
