Im wanting to start my boy on a joint supplement and just wondered if anyone had tried naf superflex and had results? I have a 14 yr old haflinger gelding in light/med work but have started to notice odd signs of stiffness. Is this worth a try or not?

I have a friend with a 19yo, arthritic gelding and she swears by the Superflex. The horse is visibly less stiff when he's getting it as well.

My farrier recommended me Superflex or Cortaflex - said of the horses he knows on joint sups, those are the ones he feels a difference in when shoeing. So my lad is on Superflex.

When I bought my 12 year old haflinger x (she was 9 at the time!) she was stiff and failed the flexion test - I bought her anyway and am soo pleased I did! I have her on apple cider vinegar and extraflex from feedmark, and somebody who saw her a couple of times when I first bought her saw her around a year afterwards and thought I had another horse! This is with happy hacking and lessons once a week(ish). I had my previous mare on extraflex from the age of 17 and we were still hacking out quite happily until she was 21.
