hi there i am looking into changing my lad to a cheaper joint supplement and was wondering what peoples opinoins was of superflex. i am needing to watch the pennie as i am trying to pay of his £10,000 vet bill although the insurance paided £5000 i still have a big bill to pay so any savings i can make are a big plus

Hello - I saw in a post the other day that NAF Superflex is supposed to be just as good as Cortaflex but much cheaper. However, I looked at prices online and it appears to be half the price.... but you have to feed twice as much? (average 13g maintenance for Superflex but 7g for Cortaflex). If I've got the prices wrong and it's just as good as Cortaflex then I would also like to switch and save a bit of dosh!

Sorry, that's not much of an opinion, hehe. I just thought it might be a useful point!

I use Naf Superflex and my 2 seem to do really well on it - no stiffness etc so its definately doing the job.

My 19 year old (well nearly) is on it just because of his age and he works hard and I also have a 12 year old broodmare on it who was stiff and is now much much more free moving.

I highly recommend it!

Would recommend it too, mare I look after is on it after having been diagnosed with spavin. She moves a lot better and the large size tub lasts 5 months and is £55. Not bad value for money and I have read that the ingredients are more pure than others i.e not full of fillers like dextrose (sugar).
