I've used it on my gelding- but mainly as a precautionary measure. He has a clicky stifle which is worse when he's stabled overnight, it definitely seems to reduce the clicks when he's on it.
He's only just eleven but I hope that using a joint supplement now will prevent probs when he's older.
I have been doing so much research on this over the last 36hrs!! If you search old posts for "joint supplements" you will find lots of info. It seems that the key ingredients are glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM and the product with the most of this (at a good price) is Riaflex Complete http://www.riaflex-equine.co.uk/product_riaflex_complete.htm which I will be buying and trying asap
I have no experience of Superflex specifically but don't hold NAF products in particularly high regard

Excellent thanks for that I guess we'll know in the next couple of weeks or so?

It takes a while to get going, but gets there in the end.
It very much depends how bad the horse is, I found that I needed to combine it with Devil's Relief to add anti inflammatory and pain relief action, it started to get REALLY expensive, so I switched to Flexadin, which already has DC in it.
You should be OK then.
TBH I find NAF a good middle of the market brand - have never been disappointed with any of their products and particularly NAF Thrive works for my ulcer horse much better than any other brand.
Unfortunately also a but a bit of a loony and has injured his coffin joint/soft tissue supporting it (hence the research)
Loads of people on here seem to absolutely love superflex, it contains all the right ingredients and it is one of the more sensibly priced options so you can't really go wrong! I just don't rate some of their other products and have cast my opinions on the brand because of it
